Knowledge of defensive driving is a must if you are a tornado chaser. You need to learn how to drive fast while still being safe. There are some emergency road rules that you have to be aware of such as not blocking the emergency vehicles, asking permission before tornado chasing, and not parking just anywhere.

Once you are a full-fledged tornado chaser, remember to always keep your mobile phone battery charged and to carry extra ones as well. This preparation will help you a lot.

Your choice to become a tornado chaser should be caused by a passion to do this. This is not a job that pays a lot and you will probably end up spending more than you earn. But if you love the thrill and adventure, you will definitely find that it is worth it.
