Xu is a Chinese man who borrowed money, 500 yuan (around £40), from a neighbor to buy a wedding gift to his friend.

It has been 3 years now and his neighbor is looking to collect his money. The problem is that Xu is denying to having ever borrowed that money from his neighbor.

“I told him that if he dared to swear to God that he didn’t owe me the money, then I would waive his debt,” said Huang (the neighbor).

Xu swor to God that he didn´t owe the money to his neighbor and was hit by lightning a minute later.

He was taken to hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.
