It´s hard not to like this Senegalese. Akon is one of my favorite musicians and his latest album “Freedom” is, according to me, his best work so far.

Sitting here and thinking were to start… It was back in February 2008 when two new songs from Akon surfaced, Could You Be The Reason and Come Back To Me. I really liked both songs, specially Could You Be The Reason and I must admit that I was a bit disappointed when track listing was confirmed by Universal Music about a month ago and that song wasn´t one of the tracks.

You can imagine how happy I was when I listened his newest album for the first time and realised that the song called for “We don´t care” is actually “Could You Be The Reason”, how great is that???

I really liked all of the songs on his newest album but if I had to pick my favorite it would be “Beautiful”, featuring Colby O’Donis & Kardinal Offishall.
