Dead mouse inside a salami

I don´t know about you, but after reading this article I have decided not to eat any kind of salami for a long long long time :)

I can´t imagine how a Romanian man, Nelu Luca, must have felt when he discovered a dead mouse inside a salami sausage he was eating. The worst part is that he had already eated a half of the salami before finding the dead mouse.

“I couldn’t believe it. I’m always careful with what I buy but the salami looked perfectly fine from the outside. But in the middle there was a dead mouse,” said Mr Luca.

Now, the manufacturers of the salami are facing a fine of up to £1,000, which is not enough if you ask me. According to the head of consumer protection, Valerian Salvastru, a sample of the salami was sent to the lab to see if there was a health risk.

Manager of the company that produced the salami, Ovidiu Wencz, is blaming this incident on saboteurs and he is sure that someone deliberately put the dead mouse in the salami mixture. According to him, they have had problems with screws and nuts in their salami before, but solved that problem by installing magnets.

Salami anyone?

Weird suicide attempt

I have read many weird and bizarre stories about suicide attempts and just when I thought that it can´t get any more bizarre I was proven wrong…

A 52 year old Montenegrin man, Milo Bogisic, bought a coffin from a funeral director. He then jumped into the casket, put a gun to his head and pulled the trigger before the shocked staff could stop him.

Medics managed to save his life because the bullet passed straight through his chin and nose missing his brain. Funeral company is refusing to give him a refund on the coffin. One worker said:

“He’ll have to keep it. He’ll get some proper use out of it one day.”

A raccoon bites off his penis

We live in a bizarre and weird world. We all know that there are pervert people living among us but how “sick” do you have to be to try to rape a raccoon?

A 44 year old Russian man, Alexander Kirilov, was drinking with his friends when he got this sick idea of raping a raccoon. The raccoon fought back and bit off a part of his penis.

Mr Kirilov told stunned surgeons in Moscow: “When I saw the raccoon I thought I’d have some fun.”

Surgeons are now trying to restore his “manhood” as best as they can. One of his drinking buddies said:

“He’s been told they can get things working again but they can’t sew back on what the raccoon bit off. That’s gone forever so there isn’t going to be much for them to work with.”

Crazy, right?

Dumb Robber

An armed robber from Serbia run into a bank wearing a balaclava and a shotgun. He demanded a cashier to hand over all the money they had. After getting around £30,000 ($46000) in cash he run out of the bank.

While the staff were still recovering from the shock of the robbery, the robber, now without his balaclava and shotgun, walked in to the bank to settle his overdraft.

Staff recognised the distinctive trainers he’d been wearing and called police.  Police said:

“They could not believe their eyes when they saw a man wearing the same shoes come back in and kept him in the bank talking about his overdraft while our officers arrived.”

The man is now arrested and will be charged with armed robbery.

Stone Flower

Villagers in China are making an arduous journey through the woods to catch a glimpse of the ‘stone flower’. They believe that the flower appeared in the woods after a bout of heavy rainfall lashed the mountain until it gave way resulting in a mountain slide.

The flower slowly emerged from the remnants of the mountainside.  According to the forest rangers of the Meilan village, Jinfeng town, the stone flower was discovered by an elderly villager about a month ago when he was collecting firewood deep in the forest.

The village head Ran Zaizhong believes that the ‘stone flower’ is a gift from nature and reveals that the township officials will protect the ‘stone flower’ and develop the location as a scenic local attraction. The villagers have now built a path through the woods so that people can easily visit the location.

Geologist Dr. Meng Youyan, after studying pictures of the ‘stone flower’ said the so-called petals are in fact 300 million-year-old chert nodules.
